AMAS Education Programs
Technical training is a top priority and the founding mission of AMAS. Members and Non-members can participate in several Courses, Workshops, and Technical Sessions held throughout Mexico each year.
These programs include training on the basic principles for new arrivals to our industry, as well as advanced, next level training programs designed for experienced industry professions who want to increase their knowledge. We strive to ensure that each and every one of our training programs contains valuable, practical information. A selection of our training programs are also held each year in conjunction with our Surface Finishing Mexico annual Conference and Expo.

Each year, AMAS organizes 6 Technical Sessions that are hosted in key locations around the country. The format of our traveling Technical Sessions includes a full day of specialized training by industry experts on a Surface Finishing Theme selected in advance by the AMAS Education Committee. Each event always includes 6-8 technical presentations, a catered lunch for all participants, and closes with a social hour allowing attendees and presenters quality time for networking and follow-up questions. Over 1000 industry professionals have participated in these training programs since they began in 2015. Admission is free to AMAS Members, and open to anyone in the industry for a small fee. The dates and locations are published in advance, so take a look at this year’s schedule and save the dates.
